Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Lima

Reception at the airport and transfer to your confirmed hotel. Check in hotel 15:00hours.

Meals: None.

Day 2: Lima – City Tour & Gold Museum

Morning city tour of Lima. Here you will admire the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the San Francisco Monastery famous for its catacombs, the Government palace, the Archbishop’s Palace and the Municipal Palace. Afterwards, visit the Gold museum to admire and enjoy the extraordinary collection of weapons and firearms. Finally return to your confirmed hotel.  Afternoon free. Overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch.  

Day 3: Lima - Arequipa

Morning transfer to airport for your flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to your confirmed hotel. Afternoon city tour of Arequipa, visiting the main square, the Cathedral, and the Santa Catalina Convent. Return to your confirmed hotel. Overnight.

Meals: Breakfast.

Day 4: Arequipa - Colca Canyon Tour

In the morning start the visit to the Colca Canyon. On the way to Chivay village, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Colca Canyon. Lunch included. Transfer to your confirmed hotel. Late afternoon enjoy the Calera Hot springs. Overnight. *Bring your bath suite for the hot water “ La Calera"

Day 5: Colca Canyon – Puno

Early morning visit the Cruz del Condor, the best viewpoint to see and enjoy the famed condors flight. Afterwards, return to Chivay passing by near villages in order to leave towards to Puno. On the way to Puno, you will observe the beautiful Andean landscapes. Arrive and transfer to your confirmed hotel.

Day 6: Puno– Floating Islands of Uros & Taquile

Early morning, you will have and unforgettable motorboat excursion on the water of the Lake Titicaca to the unique "Floating Islands" of the Uros. These ancient inhabitants of the Lake have built  their own "Islands" by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed unique to the area called "Totora" (Scirpus totora), vegetable fibre of the Papyrus family. The tour continues by motorboat to Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed efficient and unique social systems, as well as fine hand weaving techniques, passed down through the generations. Upon arrival at the town of Taquile, lunch included in the island. Then you will walk hills and around 500 stairs, and archaeological sites of this 6kilometers long Island. Finally return to Puno and transfer to your confirmed hotel. Overnight.

Day 7: Puno – Cusco

Early morning, transfer to local station in order to board the Tourist class bus to Cusco. The bus will take you 8 hours approximately to Cusco, passing by the Andean plateau, La Raya; you will also enjoy the archeological places of Pukara, Raqchi and Andahuaylillas. Lunch on the way. Finally, arrival and transfer to your confirmed hotel in Cusco. Overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 8: Cusco tour

Morning at leisure to explore the area. In the afternoon you will enjoy the City tour, visiting the Cathedral, the Temple of  Koricancha  and the nearby ruins  of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Finally, return to your hotel. Overnight.

Meals: Breakfast.

Day 9: Cusco – Sacred Valley  

This day you will enjoy the full day tour of Sacred Valley, visiting the Pisac Ruins and market, the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo, lunch at the local country side restaurant and finally transfer to your confirmed hotel in the Sacred Valley. Overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 10: Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu – Cusco

Morning transfer to local train station to begin the Journey to the Lost City of the Inca. You will enjoy the fascinating tour of Machu Picchu, an experience you will never forget. Lunch at the local restaurant. Return to Cusco by train and overnight at your confirmed hotel.

Day 11: Cusco

Day at leisure to explore the city.

Meals: Breakfast.

Day 12: Cusco – Out

At coordinated time, transfer to the airport in order to board your flight back to Lima. Connection with your International flight to your country.
