Discover Ecuador's enchanting Galapagos Islands by engaging in a variety of different activities on this incredible Galapagos Island vacation. DAY 01: guayaquil, ecuador

Upon arrival in Guayaquil, Ecuador, reception and transfer to the hotel. Check in hotel starts at 15:00hrs.

Tour of the city of Guayaquil. This cosmopolitan city is the largest port in Ecuador and offers what any major city on the world can. Rich historical background, wonderful museums, a handsome modern district with great shopping and good restaurants; a prosperous city leading the economy of the country, which displays great pride. Overnight Guayaquil.

Meals: None.


Morning transfer to Guayaquil Airport for flying with destination to the Galapagos Islands, and start this adventure according to your selected Galapagos explorer cruise's schedule.

Once you arrival to Baltra Airport, you will be transferred to your confirmed Galapagos explorer cruise by the Galapagos Islands.

The Galapagos Archipelago lies 1000 kilometers off the Pacific coast of Ecuador and is comprised of 14 large islands and more than 60 small islets. With a climate that is sub-tropical, allows cruises to depart on a year round basis.

In general, from December to May will be warm and sunny; and from June to November can be cool with a light breeze.

The waters in and around the islands form the Galapagos Marine Reserve, the second largest in the world. The islands are considered a living laboratory of nature and evolution because of their unique characteristics. The blend of cold and warm ocean currents, the volcanic structure of the islands, and their isolated location have, over the centuries, turned Galapagos into a different and special world, populated by animal and plant species found nowhere else on Earth.

There are many different activities included in your Galapagos expedition cruise, depending on the program and number of days chosen.Some of these activities are:

Walking and Hiking: Each day (except arrival and departure) you will have two disembarks: one in the morning and one in the afternoon, to a visitor site in the scheduled island or islands. Here you will have the chance to walk and hike on colored beaches, lava fields, on trails alongside cliffs and /or mangroves. All these walking excursions include close encounters with local wildlife and permits to enjoy beautiful views. You can stroll among colonies of red and blue footed boobies in their nests or while they are performing a nuptial courting, closely admire the composed marine iguanas with their prehistoric aspect; learn about the famous indigenous Galapagos tortoises endemic of the islands and much more…You always will be accompanied by an naturalist English speaking guide who will share his knowledge about the archipelago.

Snorkeling: This is one of the favorite activities of passengers. No previous experience is required and you will enjoy a lot. Most of visitors' sites offers the chance to perform this activity. There are plenty opportunities to swim along with playful sea lions or curious penguins that will observe you with astonishing naturalness , sea turtles and even marine iguanas. This is great opportunity to learn about the rich marine life of the islands, the second marine reserve in the world.

Kayaking: Some boats offers kayaks for a ride before or after the main excursion. No previous experience is required to enjoy this nice activity and you will be accompanied by your guide and/or some crew members. This activity is great to enjoy the islands and observe coastal animal life.

Panga rides: Some islands permits additional activities as the panga rides. The activity includes a ride along an island cliff or mangroves. During these rides visitors can observe geologic and volcanic formations and a variety of shore and marine birds. Across mangroves it is very common to see sea turtles, rays and even, reef sharks.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner on board.

DAY 06: guayaquil, ecuador

Today, we say good bye to the Galapagos Islands and according to flight schedule, transfer to Baltra airport for flight back to Guayaquil.

Upon arrival in Guayaquil, reception and transfer to the hotel. Check in hotel starts at 15:00hrs. Overnight.

Meals: Breakfast.


DAY 07: guayaquil, ecuador - OUT

Check out hotel 12:00hours.

At coordinated time, transfer to Guayaquil Airport for fly back home.

Meals: Breakfast.
