Itinerary

DAY 1:   ARRIVAL INLIMA, PERU
Upon arrival, reception and transfer with your guide to your hotel.  Assistance to check in the hotel.

DAY 2:   LIMA: CITY OF KINGS & GASTRONOMIC DESTINATION
In the morning, your guide will meet you in your hotel to start the visit to the Lima city.
Visit to the modern suburbs of San Isidro and Miraflores where we will see the Financial Center, the San Isidro Golf Course and the Olive Grove Park.  We will also go by the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-inca pyramid shape temple that has survived the expansion of modern civilization. We will stop at Parque del Amor (Love Park) and enjoy a nice view of the Pacific Ocean, as we drive down the Miraflores Malecon, a road along the cliffs overlooking the ocean.
Visiting to the historical center of Lima, where you will see more than fifty monuments and Colonial buildings, such as Paseo de la Republica promenade, the San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral, and the City Council Palace amongst others.
Visit to La Casa de Aliaga a colonial house from XVI century, currently rebuilt and reshaped after the earthquakes, and some changes in architectural trends, the mansion has served for almost five centuries to Lima’s history. Its artistic value emerges from the beauty of its interior space, the poetic and evocative of their environments and the original distribution of the rooms. As you wander through the beautiful rooms of this old mansion one can enjoy both the Colonial and Republican history of the city of Lima.
Following, visit to the San Francisco convent, which displays the largest collection of religious art in America. Afternoon transfer back to your hotel.
Around 17:15hours, your guide will meet you again to start a gastronomic tour around the best and exclusive restaurants of Lima.
We will begin at an upscale restaurant and lounge that sits right on the beach.  With spectacular views of Lima’s coastline, Cala is a spot you won’t soon forget.  Here, a professional bartender will share the secrets to making the perfect Pisco Sour so that you can impress your friends when you get back home.  After this refreshing cocktail, we’re off to the jungle as we take you to an award-winning Amazonian restaurant.  Ámaz has been recognized for its lively and inviting design as well as its culinary creations by winning in the category of Best New Restaurant in Peru at the Summum Awards in 2013. Here, you'll prepare your own innovative cebiche from the jungle, which you won't find anywhere else.  As far as tours in Lima go, this one is sure to amaze as you’re likely to taste an explosion of flavor like no other you've tried before.  The next stop is a well-known classic among Lima locals, the prestigious Huaca Pucllana Restaurant, located within an archaeological complex with illuminated ruins dating back to 500 A.D.  Here you will enjoy a selection of Peruvian dishes and another pisco-based cocktail.  The views and dishes are so irresistible at this stop that even Mick Jagger, Bill and Hillary Clinton and the King of Spain, among many others, have not dared to miss it during their travels to Peru. To wrap up the night, we’ll head to the bohemian Barranco district for dessert.

DAY 3:   LIMA –PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE
At agreed time, you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide and together -in a private car- will begin the trip to the quaint fishing town of Paracas in southern Peru. (3hours 30minutes to 4 hours approximately). Upon arrival, you will check in your hotel and enjoy the featuring modern style architecture of your hotel.

Meals: Breakfast.

DAY 4:   PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE – BALLESTAS ISLANDS
Your day’s adventure will depart from the hotel’s pier, from which you and your guide will board a private Yate for sailing 3 hours approximately around the Ballestas Islands and to have the opportunity to see the sea lions, penguins of Humbolt, on the way you will also appreciate the Candelabro, which experts believe is connected to the Nazca lines. A light lunch and some beverage are included. Transfer back to your hotel to rest and enjoy your time.
Enjoy the magic sunset in Paracas desert, accompanied by your private guide, you will board the pipe to enter in the desert half an hour before sunset, and tour the beautiful dunes to reach the camp conditioning with carpets, cushions, located in a high area of a dune with a panoramic view of the desert for watching the sunset. Once there some champagne and wine will be offered accompanied by a few snacks, fruit, soft drinks and juices, and enjoying a musical background for appreciating a beautiful sunset. Following, return to your hotel.

DAY 5:   PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE – NAZCA
Today, we will visit the incredible beauty of the Paracas National Reserve, of the sea and the beach on this trip. We will know a bit more about one of the most important pre-Inca civilizations, the Paracas Culture. Enjoy your lunch at hotel before to continue your trip to Nazca. (3hours 30minutes to 4 hours approximately).
Upon arrival in Nazca, we will continue to your hotel to rest.

DAY 6:   NAZCA LINES - AREQUIPA
Continue your epic journey with a flight over the Nazca Lines around 1hour 30 minutes. (According to the weather). Flying over the area you can marvel looking at the perfect shape of Animal's, flowers, plants, objects, and anthropomorphic figures of colossal proportions made with well-defined lines. Following, transfer back to your hotel.
Afterwards, we will start our trip by private car to Arequipa (8hours 30minutes to 9 hours approximately). Evening arrival to your hotel in Arequipa, the White city.

DAY 7:   AREQUIPA, THE WHITE CITY
At agreed time, your guide will collect you from your hotel to visit to Arequipa, commonly referred to as “The White City”, is constructed from chalk-white volcanic stone excavated from the five volcanoes that surround the area.  With your guide you will proceed to the Plaza de Armas and navigate through the heart of the city, exploring one of the most impressive main squares in Peru, the Cathedral prime example of XIXth Century Peruvian architecture and branching out to the neighboring streets, taking advantage of the various lookout points with views of the magnificent volcanoes. Then visit the Jesuit Church of La Compañía and the Convent of Santa Catalina a "small town" built in the XVIth Century and opened to the public in 1970, after 400 years of cloister. About 20 nuns, of what were once 500, still live in a section of the Convent.  
Enjoy a local lunch at one of the many restaurants before visiting the Santuarios Andinos Museum, which houses the remains of a teenage girl from Inca times uncovered in 1995, as well as Casa del Moral, a private 18th-century house featuring an extensive historical library.
Return to your hotel.

DAY 8:   AREQUIPA - COLCA VALLEY
After your breakfast your guide will take you in a private car to The Colca Valley and Canyon which constitute one of Peru’s most dramatic and spectacular natural landscapes to spend three days exploring this beautiful environment.
Along the way, you can observe the beautiful landscape, terracing, snow peaks and the vicuña nature reserve Pampas Cañahuas.
Continue your journey through picturesque Andean farms, dotted with sheep, llama and traditionally dressed workers.  Proceed along the southern banks of the Colca River until you reach your lodge at the village of Yanque.

DAY 9     COLCA VALLEY
Rest and relax at your lodge, or visit accompanied with your guide some colonial churches, such as Coporaque. Alternatively you can go on a two hour hike to the nearby Pre-Inca archaeological site of Uyo-Uyo, visit the thermal baths at the Colca Lodge or there is the option to go horseback riding at an additional cost.

DAY 10: COLCA VALLEY – TITICACA LAKE
Today you will start your excursion to visit the Condor Cross, the best viewpoint to see and enjoy the famed condor’s flight. Also the Geographical Impressive scene, view of the depth of the canyon. Following this, you will make the journey to Puno by private car with your guide.
Along the way, pass the towns of Juliaca, Imata and some others. Drive along the cost of the Altiplano Lake Lagunilla to catch a glimpse of its variety of wild birds and flora.
Upon your arrival at Puno, you will be transferred to your hotel, overlooking the spectacular Lake Titicaca.

DAY 11: PUNO: ISLANDS OF LAKE TITICACA
Explore the Uros floating islands and the Island of Taquile on this full-day trip. Neither land, sky, or water, but rather at the intersection of the three, Totora, or junco reed roots, serve as unique building material  for the floating islands of the Uros Titino communities of Lake Titicaca.
The Islands of Lake Titicaca excursion brings you close to the islands’ Uro-Aymara communities, providing a unique opportunity to grow personally acquainted with the men –skilled reed raftsmen– ,and women, -expert weavers famous for their craft–, as well as the ancestral techniques used to keep their islands afloat, among other aspects of their remarkable heritage.
In Taquile, for example, you will experience the Quechua imagination in the textile weavings unique to the area and recently included in UNESCO’s Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Enjoy lunch outdoors as you treat yourself to the grandeur of Puno’s deep blue skies mirrored across Lake Titicaca with views of Bolivia’s Cordillera Real, or Royal mountain Range, in the background.

DAY 12: LAKE TITICACA – CUSCO – URUBAMBA “THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS”
At agreed time you will be collected from your hotel by your expert guide to travel around the Andean Landscapes to Puno – Titicaca Lake.
There are two options for the overland route from Puno to Cusco, both featuring fascinating landscapes, small villages, churches and other seldom-seen locations along the way.
You can choose the popular train route from Lake Titicaca Puno to Cusco or driving through an abundance of sites between these two regions.

Option: Driving around the Andean Landscapes: The Conventional Route | Scenic route with guide.  Along the way, there are many other possible sites to see such as Pucara.
At approximately the halfway point of the journey is La Raya (4,335 ms.a.s.l), where you will stop to stretch your legs and to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
Continue the journey, we will still visit many interesting sites with your guide such as Raqchi, a remarkable and unusual Inca archaeological site with unique features like adobe construction and what is believed to be the tallest structure built by the Incas; visit to the quaint Andean village of Andahuaylillas and its 17th-century church, famous for amazing frescoes. Following your trip, arrival at Cusco and continue to your hotel in Urubamba “The Sacred Valley of the Incas”.

Option: Andean Explorer Train to Cusco: The Highland Route | Scenic route with your guide | Enjoy the mysticism offered by the beautiful Peruvian Andean landscape aboard on this luxury train. The Andean Explorer involves you in an exquisitely area decorated with subtle, delicate style of the great Pullman trains of the twenties.
Riding the Andean Explorer is a unique experience, a journey between mountains and clouds, and between mountains and highlands. Ten hour train journey, which ends at the magic city of Cusco and in whose path, the traveler will see the changing landscapes among the various weather of the area, mountains and rolling plains.
Upon your arrival at Cusco and continue to your hotel in Urubamba “The Sacred Valley of the Incas”.

DAY 13:URUBAMBA “SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS”
Today you will visit shortly of Awanacancha ranch with your guide, where you will have the opportunity to see the different camelids in the Andes: llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and guanacos. Following, visit to Pisac, one of the most important Inca sites in the Urubamba Valley, featuring Inca masonry of superlative quality, stunning terracing and picturesque views. Explore the ruins with your guide, and then experience the sights and sounds of Pisac’s famous market. Enjoy a delicious lunch at El Huacatay Restaurant which not only it is a place where every dish is an experience for the senses, but also a refuge where the atmosphere and aesthetics are part of the charm.
Then, you will be taking to your hotel to rest and relax.

DAY 14:URUBAMBA – OLLANTAYTAMBO FORTRESS & TOWN
Accompanied by your guide, today you will visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle. You can walk through the quaint streets of the nearby Town, and get a good idea of what this strategic military, religious, and agricultural centre was like during the era of the Inca Empire.
Following your visit, transfer to Hacienda Huayoccari where you will enjoy a delicious lunch of typical Peruvian dishes, a private tour of the on-site gallery with pre-Columbian and Colonial artwork, and a traditional Paso horse dance. Transfer back to your hotel in private car afterwards.

DAY 15: URUBAMBA - MACHU PICCHU
At agreed time, pick up from your hotel to be transferred with your guide to Ollantaytambo train station for travelling together to the village of Machu Picchu (1 hour 30minutes travel by train) by the Belmond Hiram Bingham exclusive and luxury train, which guarantees the highest quality of exquisite, attentive service with a dedicated wait staff attending to your every need and ensuring your experience is as comfortable and luxurious as possible. Enjoy a gourmet brunch and excellent selection of Peruvian wines during the spectacular journey descending into the Sacred Valley and passing through lush landscapes and Andean villages.
Upon arrival to Machu Picchu village, you will take the bus up to the ruins for about 30minutes towards to the famous "Lost City of the Incas", discovered since 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham.  
Here, enjoy a 2 to 3 hour visit of the citadel of Machu Picchu, passing by the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the three Windows and various burial grounds. You will have time to enjoy the citadel and take wonderful photos.

DAY 16: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
This morning you will return to the Machu Picchu Citadel with your guide for an activity-filled day. Depending on your desired duration and physical exertion, there are a variety of excursions available including a hike to IntiPunku, the “Sun Gate”, a more strenuous climb to Huayna Picchu or perhaps climb to the top of Machu Picchu Mountain, located south of the Citadel and offering spectacular panoramic views. Following your visit, take the bus back to the town of Machu Picchu Village to catch the opulent Belmond Hiram Bingham train back to Poroy, where a private car will be waiting for to transfer you to Cusco.

DAY 17: CUSCO – CITY TOUR
Today your guide will pick you up from your hotel and together you will start the tour at the main square, you will walk from one site to the next, observing the juxtaposition of solid Inca stonework and the finest, Spanish colonial architecture. As well as the main sites such as The Cathedral and Koricancha, visit artisan markets, lovely galleries, shops, museums and lesser-known churches.
After a break for your lunch, you will continue by private car out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, return to the hotel.

DAY 18: CUSCO – LIMA - OUT
A set time you will be collected from your hotel and be transferred in private car to the airport for boarding your domestic flight to Lima.
Upon arrival, recepcion and meet with your guide to begin your visit to Larco Museum which is considered one of the best museums in Latin America. This museum features the best and most complete pre-Hispanic gold and silver collection in the world.  It is well-known because of its erotic ceramics exhibits as well as its vast storage galleries. Enjoy a delicious lunch before being taken back to the International Lima Airport and be assisted with check-in procedures for your international departure.
